Target Name: “Noi” - Age: 24
Our method: Close Observation + Pretext Interview.
Our charges: 3 nights, 5850 baht.
Her Story: Wanted to quit the gogo bar and learn to be a beautician and then open her own hair salon. Promised to quit the bar, needed tuition money to go to school 4 times a week, food and rent money, a little help for her mama and son, etc.
The Take: 15,000 baht each and every month from the customer (if he hadn’t got us on the case.)
The Truth: Never went to her school and they never heard of her. Was back in the bar every night just 3 days after the client left Bangkok. Agreed to go with our agent for 1500 baht long-time.
The Outcome: Our customer dropped her like a hot rock.
Target Name: “Gai” - Age: 26 (center)
Our method: Close Observation.
Our charges: 2 days/nights, 8800 baht.
Her Story: Didn’t want to work in the “bar beer” anymore. Wanted to go home to Isaan and be with her daughter and open a small shop in her village. Requested monthly allowance and then start-up costs for store rent and inventory. Would go home for Songkran and never return to the bar.
The Take: 12,000 baht every month from the customer then about 100,000 baht to start the store.
The Truth: Stayed in Pattaya and spent a few days spending the money (8,500 baht) the client left her, partying with her bar friends over Songkran, and usually drunk and dancing on the bar tables.
The Outcome: Customer confronted her by telephone and she tearfully denied everything, claiming mistaken identity. He emailed her the photos and he never heard from her again.
Target Name: “Daeng” - Age: 22 (right foreground)
Our method: Pretext Interview + Entrapment.
Our charges: 2 nights, 6700 baht.
Her Story: Said she hated working in the gogo bar. Had only been there 3 weeks. (Same story told to our client and then to our agent over a month later!) Wanted to finish her last year of university in Thailand, then go to Europe to marry the client.
The Take: School fees 20,000 baht and then 15,000 baht every month from the customer (actually over 40,000 a month from THREE customers as we later learned.)
The Truth: A superstar type of girl, wanted at least 2500 baht for short-time, worked in the bar for almost two years and an absolute expert at parting men from their money. One of the best we’ve seen, in fact. A real mercenary with the face of an angel.
The Outcome: The customer confronted her and she told him she’d just gone back to the bar for a few days because of a family emergency and she needed fast cash. She didn’t want to bother him because he was already so generous…
The customer forgave her despite our report (and explicit warnings!) and eventually she went to Europe as his fiancee. She cleaned him out financially sending back several million baht to her family, whored around for a year and came back to Bangkok. And STILL went back to work in the gogo bar!
